Installation of the President and Board for the Rotary Year 2025-26

The Rotary Club of Cochin celebrated its annual change of guard — installation of the 89th President, Rtn Michealle Niaz Liaquat. This event marks not only a change in leadership but also a renewed commitment to service, fellowship, and the enduring values that have guided our club for nearly nine decades. As we pass the torch to a new leader, we honour the achievements of the past and look forward to a vibrant future of impactful service and community engagement.

Installation Meeting of the Rotary Club of Cochin

Rtn Michealle Niaz Liaquat is a 3rd generation President of the club. Both her grandfathers, Late Rtn PP VBM Bava and Late PP Rtn KMK Abdulla, and her father Rtn PP VM Liaquat Ali were past presidents of the club.

She is an educator by profession. The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator at GPS Brookes Kochi and the Placement Advisor at Global Public School, Kochi, GPS International, Kochi and GPS Brookes Kochi.
